THE QUALITY OF THIS COURSE: This Public Speaking course is unique, and the instructor is exceptional; the content is comprehensive, the approach personal. The Art of Public Speaking was originally created by Connie, in 2018, for an in-person classroom. The first graduation was held in late 2019, just before COVID closed the classroom setting. At the request of several interested parties, Connie has revived the course and adjusted the content to be hybrid with the convenience of downloadable videos AND the benefit of personalized virtual one-on-one coaching. The course is now available in the following format: * FIVE downloadable comprehensive, interesting, easy to understand training videos. *Homework to enhance your learning experience *FIVE virtual one-on-one training sessions with your instructor. (One coaching session to accompany each of the five training videos). *Additional coaching available - (Once you have completed the online course, you may contact Connie for additional coaching.) This course was created with the uniqueness of you in mind, to reach your uniquely personal public speaking goals. The course is valuable for and adaptable to the beginner, as well as the experienced public speaker who wants to brush up on your skills. YOUR INSTRUCTOR'S QUALIFICATIONS: Connie has more than 15 years experience as an inspirational and motivational speaker, and more than 25 years as a postsecondary instructor. Her international audiences and students have included men, women and children; large audiences and small intimate settings. She is author of books, articles, academic curriculum and music; and a writer-director of dramatic and musical productions. In order to keep up with the growing demand for online training, but wanting to stay true to her dedication to the quality and intimacy of a classroom, Connie has artistically converted The Art of Public Speaking into a unique hybrid course that consists of both online training, and personal virtual coaching sessions. Throughout this course, you will benefit not only from Connie's many years as a beloved and exceptional instructor, but also from the wisdom and insight she will offer you during your one-on-one coaching sessions. THE FORMAT OF THIS COURSE: 1) Once you purchase the course, a link to all 5 downloadable training videos will be emailed to you, along with a PDF Class Outline. 2) Watch the 1st training video, which includes a homework assignment. 3) Do your homework 4) After you do your homework, contact Connie to schedule a time for your first personal one-on-one virtual coaching session. 5) Meet with Connie for your one hour virtual coaching session. 6) THEN watch the next video, do the homework, and schedule your second coaching session. 7) Continue this process, at your own speed until all five video/coaching sessions are completed in an orderly fashion. 8) OPTIONAL, once you have finished the course, should you feel the need for more coaching time, sessions will be made available to you for a discount price. WHAT IS THE COST OF THIS COURSE? Each video plus coaching session is equal to $40 USD. The cost of the entire course ( FIVE videos plus FIVE coaching sessions) is $200 USD Random video purchase is not available. The course is meant to be learned as a whole, and can only be purchased as a whole. Upon receipt of your $200, you will receive a download of all FIVE videos. You can learn a whole lot from simply watching the videos. BUT the video training will benefit you SO much more if you take advantage of the coaching sessions! The coaching sessions are included in the cost. There are NO hidden fees! A link to download all 5 training videos will be made available to you immediately upon payment. BUT the five coaching sessions are available to you only ONE at a time... Each coaching session is available only AFTER you have completed the homework assignment included within the corresponding video. The videos are meant to be watched in specific order, and the coaching is meant to be accessed in the same manner. Your instructor will insist upon teaching and coaching you in this order. Coaching will NOT be available without your first watching a video and completing the homework. The training videos are yours to watch indefinitely, and your fee is non-refundable. After purchasing, you have a 6 months grace period to schedule your first coaching session, but hopefully you will choose to watch your first video and reach out for your first coaching very soon after you receive the download. The completion of the remainder of the classes and videos will be decided between you and your instructor, depending on your progress and your comfort level with the process. SEEM Complicated? Here is a briefer explanation of the process: 1) Purchase the course, and all 5 training videos will be emailed to you. 2) Watch the 1st training video (PS101), which includes a homework assignment. 3) Do your homework 4) After you do your homework, Contact Connie to schedule a time for your personal one-on-one virtual coaching session. 5) Meet with Connie for your virtual coaching session. 6) THEN watch the next video (PS102), do the homework, and schedule another coaching session. 7) Continue this process, at your own speed until all five video/coaching sessions are completed in an orderly fashion. 8) OPTIONAL continuing coaching sessions are available to you, once you have finished your entire five-video course. CAN I SHARE THESE VIDEOS? No. Do not share these videos with any individual, and do not use them in a public setting. You will sign an contract agreeing to not share these videos. You must sign the contract before the videos will be released to you. These videos are meant for individual use only. And they are meant to be used in combination with virtual coaching sessions. If you have a friend that wants to take this course, please ask them to contact Connie.
